General Information
Lo-Har Senior Living is a senior community with a dedicated staff for Assisted Living and Memory Care. The community itself was built in the 1950s, and has undergone a number of renovations. The Assisted Living section of the community was built in recent years. Other parts of the community were renovated, including the addition of an upgraded kitchen.
The lead registered nurse and staff work with residents closely every day. A number of residents and staff members have been a part of the community for more than 10 years. The Lo-Har staff focuses on the care and treats the job like a duty or calling.
The Assisted Living section has all new rooms, paint, flooring, fixtures, and televisions. There are areas of the community that could use some updating. The exterior of the building features lush landscaping with large trees, healthy green lawn, and colorful flowers. It also has a secure courtyard where residents can enjoy time in nature in between meals and activities. Lo-Har also has a medication room where the staff can store medications with a double lock. No. You may submit payment for your fees monthly. There are no long-term contracts.
What types of health assessments are performed routinely?
The staff at Lo-Har Senior Living conducts an initial assessment. After 1 month, there will be a follow-up evaluation. Also, the staff monitors closely and performs “skin checks” every shower.
